Baina Beach Water Sports: Arrival, Transport and Reporting Guide

BookScubaGoa's South Goa water-sports service operates at Baina Beach, Vasco da Gama. Before arranging travel, check that your booking says Baina Beach. The North Goa/Baga package has a different reporting location.

Get the correct reporting point

Ask for the exact reporting pin, reporting time and contact for your confirmed booking. A general map search for water sports in Goa can show another beach or operator. Save the booking reference and pin before leaving your hotel, and share the correct destination with your driver.

Outward and return transport

Hotel pickup, airport transfers and return taxis are not included in this beach package. Arrange transport separately. For a taxi, agree the outward and return fare, whether the driver waits, and any extra waiting or parking charges. Do not assume that an airport transfer includes an activity stop or luggage storage.

Your journey depends on your hotel, road conditions and reporting point. Plan with the confirmed pin rather than a fixed travel-time estimate from a generic Goa article. Baina is the location for this service; it is not a booking at Colva, Palolem, Baga or Calangute.

Leave enough time

Ask the booking team about the expected visit duration and operating arrangements for your selected date. The five rides do not happen simultaneously. Registration, briefing, equipment preparation, boat movements and queues can add time; weather and sea conditions can change the plan. The overall visit is not continuous ride time.

Keep a buffer before a flight, train or other fixed appointment. Plan a return journey that can accommodate delays and reconfirm with the team if you are running late. Late-arrival and rescheduling terms should be checked before payment.

Carry and confirm before leaving

• Booking reference and identification requested by the operator.
• Comfortable swimwear or quick-drying clothes, towel and a change of clothes.
• Secure arrangements for valuables; confirm storage rather than assuming lockers are included.
• Activity-specific eligibility for every participant, particularly children.
• Spectator, changing, toilet and shower arrangements if these affect your visit.

Do not assume that carrying luggage, bringing a companion or buying a combo guarantees storage or spectator entry. Ask about any relevant charges in advance.

Choose the correct booking
