What happens during the scuba session?
Meet the activity team, complete registration and medical screening, then attend the basic briefing. The instructor explains the equipment, breathing, hand signals and equalisation before assisting you during your introductory dive.
Standard scuba is generally around 5–10 minutes underwater, with a basic briefing generally around 5–15 minutes. The actual underwater time depends on your comfort, the instructor's assessment and sea conditions. Boat transfers, equipment preparation and group turns make the overall outing longer than the dive itself.
This is not a certification course or the separate 30–40 minute long-dive package. No pool session is included in this standard option.
